Hi! I’m Tabitha, your D.C. Family Photographer!
I’m a family and newborn photographer who makes it easy to have photos you love without spending your session worrying about poses, perfect behavior, or whether your kids are cooperating. I’ll guide when needed and create space for the real connection and joy that makes your family yours.
I'm a little messy, a little imperfect, and very much myself, but when it comes to the people I'm photographing, I care deeply about creating an experience that feels thoughtful, professional, and fun!
My goal is for you to have a relaxed and enjoyable experience where you can actually be with your family while I take care of documenting it all.
As both a photographer and a mom, I know how important it is to remember this stage of life just as it is. I want you to show up as you are, and I’ll take it from there!

I provide a laid-back photo experience for families that value connection, personality, and want beautiful photos of their family enjoying each other, without the stiff poses or stress.
You don’t need a perfectly behaved family or a picture-perfect plan to have photos you love.
I’ll gently take the lead, give you direction when you need it, and spend time getting to know your kids so they feel comfortable with me. We’ll play, snuggle, explore, laugh, and take a few more traditional portraits along the way.
There’s room for your toddler to be a toddler and your big kid to have an opinion, because some of the best photographs happen when we aren't trying so hard to make them happen! After your session you’ll receive a collection of beautiful, natural images that capture your family right now.

I want your family photos to remind you what your family felt like in this season of life such as the way your toddler reaches to get picked up and lays their head on your shoulder, the cuddles, the games played together, the everyday chaos, and the personalities that are changing faster than you can even imagine.
We’ll choose a location that fits your family, plan around the best light, and keep things simple so you can focus on being together.
I’ll guide you when needed, but never force moments. The best images come from real connection, not perfection.

Fresh 48 sessions take place at baby’s birth place. These sessions are documentary style and meant to photograph the first few moments with your baby and can include siblings and grandparents.
NEWBORN
Baby led sessions that take place in the comfort of your home. These are relaxed and meant to capture the first few weeks with your new baby and family.
FAMILY
Relaxed, playful sessions that give your family room to be yourselves while I capture the connection, personalities, and those little moments with your family.
