As parents we know the days are long but the years are short (it’s so true right?!). We take photos to document these little moments so we can relive them over and over again because they pass way too quickly.

Relaxed, Lifestyle Family Photography in Kensington, MD
Your kids don’t have to perform and you don’t have to be posed unnaturally. I lightly guide natural interactions to create those special moments you’ll want documented.
Some children are ready to go right at the beginning of the session, and others need some time to warm up, and that’s totally okay. My approach is to meet each of your family members where they are and create a session that feels comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.
My goal is to connect with each of your family members and create a meaningful and memorable experience. I will follow your family’s lead, whether soft and quiet, or lively and energetic. We give the kids breaks when needed.
I offer both in-home family photography and outdoor family sessions in Kensington and surrounding areas.
Some families are drawn to in-home sessions for a more documentary feel. Being in your own space allows us to tell your story using home, your routines, and some of your everyday moments.
Other families prefer outdoor family photography, with beautiful natural light, seasonal backdrops, and space for kids to explore and move freely (which often leads to the most natural expressions).

You’ll receive information about the Family Session Experience, what to expect during your family session, what to wear guidance, and tips for working with little ones.
During your session we will work together to keep things natural. I will let some moments unfold and I’ll jump in with some ideas for engagement when needed.
After your session, you’ll receive a gallery of images that reflects your family as you are right now. You will also receive a beautiful custom photo album to have a tangible way to relive these photos!
