What to Wear for your Washington, D.C. Family Session

Yay it’s almost session time! I made this guide to share some inspiration and take out some of the stress of trying to figure out what to wear.

I want your session to feel fun, relaxed, and true to your family!

Here are some quick tips for picking out outfits for your family session!

• Pick a seasonal color palette and add in a few other colors

• Start with Mom

• Mix up textures

• Dress comfortably to allow for movement

• Try on outfits ahead of time to make sure they fit well, and not too tight or too loose

Some things to avoid:

Too many patterns (1-2 usually works well)

Large logos, distracting graphics

Every location has its own feel, so consider that when choosing the best location & outfits for your family.
